Shelter Me

When the storms come rolling in, I am reminded that I need a shelter. Jesus has definitely been there for me as I have started my journey. There are times the rain pounds down and soaks you to the bones, leaving you cold and wet. But when you get in from the wet and cold, you notice that that was just what you needed. The Bible talks about many kinds of shelters and that Jesus is our shelter from the storms of life. We sheep need to be protected. Jesus provides just that! 

How has He provided for you I the midst of your storms?

Verse 1: 

I remember those long nights, underneath the stars so bright, 

Whisper in the wind, sweet melody, 

Mama would tell me the Lord's protection over me. 

Her hand would clasp, her heart so bold, 

“Trust in him, my child, let His love unfold.”  

The smell of fresh rain, the taste of hope, 

Every whispered prayer helped us cope.

In each moment, Lord, Your love is divine.
