The Ink of His Love

Verse 1

If the ocean were a well of ink,

And the sky was made of papers deep,

I’d write my story, pour out my heart,

But even then, it wouldn’t start,

To tell the truth of what I’ve found,

In the moments where His love abounds.

Chorus

Oh, the love of God can’t be contained,

It’s the light in the dark, it’s joy unchained.

I could fill the universe with all my cries,

But His marvelous love never fades or dies.

It’s a depth unmeasured, a height so wide,

I want to be rooted, with Him as my guide.

Verse 2

Remember those nights, in silent prayer,

When the world felt so heavy, too much to bear?

He wrapped me in peace, like a soft embrace,

Whispered, “Child, I’ll always hold your place.”

In the laughter of friends, in the tears that fall,

His love’s the foundation, the strength through it all.

Chorus

Bridge

When the storms come raging, I won’t lose my way,

‘Cause I stand on His promise, come what may,

With every step forward, I feel His grace,

In the dance of the shadows, I find my place.

Chorus

Outro

So if the ocean were a well of ink,

And the sky was made of papers, I’d still think,

That all the grass could be pens, and words could flow,

They’d never capture the Love of God I know.

I’m filled beyond measure, my heart overflows,

Because of His love, all to Him I owe.
