Make me an Ambassador

God has been impressing upon the importance of representing Him well. In essence, we are God’s ambassadors when we become a child of His. It’s not easy. It is a reminder constantly that what I say, do, and be is a reflection of Him. But am I representing Him well? Are my words well chosen? Is my behavior honoring to Him? Is my demeanor and attitude honoring? When others see me, do they see Christ?  It’s kind of like a war of words. Choosing my words and even the things I post about, are they biblical and uplifting? DO I reflect and demonstrate His love and faithfulness?

How do you view your role in this world? What are some of the mor challenging aspects to walking out your faith? Can you share what you do that helps and areas you struggle with?

Make Me an Ambassador

Verse 1:

Jesus, make me an ambassador

Send me to represent You,

Whether here at home or far away.

Give me words to speak,

That share Your Gospel,

Words of encouragement, peace,

And a call to repentance.

Chorus:

Send me, Lord, where you’d have me speak,

Words of love, joy, and peace.

Send me, Lord, to love on others,

Just life You would.

Help me bring Your healing truth.

Verse 2:

Jesus, make ma an ambassador

Living out the ways of You,

Whether here at home or far away.

Give me words to speak and

Exhort Your Word,

Words of grace, instruction, and His purpose.

Chorus:

Send me, Lord, where you’d have me speak,

Words of love, joy, and peace.

Send me, Lord, to love on others,

Just life You would.

Help me bring Your healing truth.

Vese 3:

Jesus, Great Speaker, use me

In this mission and message.

Send me to represent You in every

Moment of everyday life.

Give me grace that softens our heart and shapes our tongue,

To accurately be an ambassador of You.

Chorus:

Send me, Lord, where you’d have me speak,

Words of love, joy, and peace.

Send me, Lord, to love on others,

Just life You would.

Help me bring Your healing truth.

Bridge:

Every day

There’s a war of words

That fight in my heart

May selflessness win

With Christ-centered agenda,

Controlled by Your spirit.

Not my interest

Only You! Only You!
