Ransom for my Soul

I was lost in the shadows. running from the Light, 

Memories of old scars, haunted me at night. 

But then I saw a figure, standing at my door, 

His arms wide open, said,” I'm here to restore.

He will never leave me, He will never abandoned me, 

Ransomed by His love, I'm finally free. 

Jesus gave himself, paid my price with grace, 

Now I'm dancing in the Light, in this sacred space.

Once I walked in darkness, chained to my sin, 

Heart heavy with the burdens, I was trapped within. 

But the Savior found me, pulled me from the deep, 

With the blood of Christ, my soul heed keep.

He pulled me from Sheol, where the shadows tried to creep,
